What is hygge? "Hygge" (pronounced "hoo-gah") is a Danish concept that is difficult to translate directly, but it can be understood as an atmosphere of comfort, conviviality, and well-being. It is an approach to life focused on creating warm and pleasant environments, often in the company of friends and loved ones.
