Conference by Malan Marnersdóttir, professor at the University of the Faroe Islands and author of the essay "Une histoire de la littérature des Îles Féroé" (Montreal, Imaginaire | Nord, collection "Isberg," 2022) on contemporary Faroese literature, its literary trends, and production. The conference will be followed by a reading, in Faroese and French, by Lív Maria Róadóttir Jæger and Charlotte Francœur, on the occasion of the French release of the poetry collection "J’écris sur du papier mouillé" (Montreal, Éditions du Noroît, 2024).
Session led in French by Daniel Chartier, professor at the University of Quebec in Montreal and director of the International Research Laboratory on the Imaginary of the North, Winter, and the Arctic.
The event is organized by the "Laboratoire international de recherche sur l’imaginaire du Nord, de l’hiver et de l’Arctique", in collaboration with Éditions du Noroît and the FIKA(S) Festival.
