Parental leave and Equity CONFERENCE – Models from Quebec and Sweden

TUESDAY, MARCH 12th – Free – From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., including a 10-minute discussion with the audience at the end.
The discussion will take place in English and French with spontaneous translation by the host.
Johan Bävman’s photographs of at-home fathers during their parental leave, presented in the Swedish Dads exhibition at the Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme Exhibition Hall, is sparking discussions: what are the parental leave models in Quebec and Sweden? How are they unique? How are they used? How did the sharing of parental leave evolve and how is it determined today? What about work-family conciliation?
